BMC M28 'Solifuge' Fixed Blade Knife

The BMC M28 Solifuge is a Fixed Blade Knife designed to be an incredibly capable survival field knife with serious bushcraft chops.

It’s 6in D2 blade is 5mm thick with a robust and usable medium sabre grind. The balance point is at the front of the handle for excellent usability.

It’s built tough to be the one knife you need in the woods or in an emergency - the M28 is the right tool for the job.

The full length swedge serves to remove weight, whilst still allowing for successful firesteel striking and batoning near the tip.

The butt features a solid angled breaker pommel with lanyard hole. The handle has been carefully designed to offer an incredible reverse grip.

The fingerguard doubles as an enlarged sharpening choil. Kept deep enough to avoid accidentally touching the blade heel. It is this wide arch shape, along with the handle shape which mimics the large chelicerae and body of a Camel Spider aka Solifuge.

The D2 steel blade is available in either a Raw Stonewash, Black or Grey PVD Stonewashed finish. Laser etched with custom artwork and serial number.

The Solifuge comes with a custom matching black Kydex sheath with Malice-style clips.

Care Instructions:

The M28 is made from D2 Tool Steel. To keep the steel free from signs of oxidation or corrosion; please ensure it is cleaned, oiled and put away dry. Using "wet wipes" or other chemical cleaning products may discolour the blade.

We suggest using the cleaning cloth provided to remove dirt, a squirt of 3-IN-ONE oil (manufactured by WD40) onto the blade and carefully wiped down after use will keep the steel in optimal condition.

We recommend using a whetstone to sharpen and a leather honing strop to hone the edge. Learning how to do this effectively is an incredibly useful skill for the future maintenance of all your bladed articles.

Always store the blade in it's provided kydex sheath, away from children and in a safe, cool, dry place.
