The BMC M13 Imp Neck Knife is designed to be a lightweight every-day carry blade or accompaniment to a larger outdoor blade.

This was designed to be an indispensable warehouse tool for breaking down boxes and cutting tape. Perfect for using at home for those 101 everyday tasks from sharpening pencils, opening mail to breaking down the latest Amazon box.

With it's curved and generous belly and extremely ergonomic design; this Imp also works great as a compact skinning knife when out in the wild traveling light.

The upward curved handle fills the hand well for a tool measuring only 135mm / 5.3in.

The angled scales and fingerguard allow for a secure grip, with the rear of the harpoon providing a natural and highly controllable thumb ramp. Reverse grip was given due care and is equally secure.

The D2 steel blade comes in either Raw or Black Stonewashed finishes with matching Micarta scales. A rare feature for a diminutive neck knife, but like every in-house BMC designed blade - ergonomics and functionality are of the utmost importance.

The steel choice keeps the quality high and the costs affordable with this version of the Imp. D2 holds a great edge, it is semi-stainless and is tough. The ideal characteristics for a compact, slicey outdoor blade.

Deployed primarily as a 'Neck Knife' - the Imp can be worn around the neck using the provided paracord. Adjust the length to suit. Excellent retention means the handle-down blade can be unsheathed instantly with a quick downward tug. No need for any hindering straps.

The knife also ships with a belt clip for scout or standard vertical belt carry.

Care Instructions:

The Imp is made from D2 Tool Steel. To keep the steel free from signs of oxidation or corrosion; please ensure it is cleaned, oiled and put away dry. Using "wet wipes" or other chemical cleaning products may discolour the blade.

We suggest using the cleaning cloth provided to remove dirt, a squirt of 3-IN-ONE oil (manufactured by WD40) onto the blade and carefully wiped down after use will keep the steel in optimal condition.

We recommend using a whetstone to sharpen and a leather honing strop to hone the edge. Learning how to do this effectively is an incredibly useful skill for the future maintenance of all your bladed articles.

Always store the blade in it's provided kydex sheath, away from children and in a safe, cool, dry place.
