The Vanguard comes in at a lithe 600g and overall length of 511mm. The weight savings are gained through having a distal tapered blade - from 5mm at the handle to a slicey 2.8mm at the tip.
 
It also has a faceted spine, positioned to not compromise batoning, but to limit deep-chop-pinching and reduce overall blade weight. Finally a skeletonised full tang keeps the weight forward where it's needed.
 
The Vanguard is inspired by a British Military pattern Golok, but our interpretation takes the blade to a completely new level. Available in Satin finish or Darth Stonewashed Black Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) coating.

3D shaped super ergonomic Micarta handle for great grip and hours of comfortable use.
Faceted blade design includes a confined swedge and numerous lanyard points for adaptability in various environments.
High toughness and amazing wear-resistant D2 tool steel blade, it's a semi-stainless steel so needs less care than a carbon steel.
A choice of blade only or with a British produced Kydex sheath for secure carry and storage.
This blade has been designed and made to British Military specs with the intention of gaining entry for use with the British Armed Forces.

**The Vanguard was previously referred to as the Ghoul. Regrettably that name was too similar to banned names in the UK, hence the forced change.
